The Court of Justice of the European Union’s "Schrems II" decision, additional standard contractual clauses updates and soon-to-arrive European Data Protection Board recommendations are rapidly changing the requirements for how data is transferred from Europe. Organizations are working quickly to align with the latest guidance from countries and regulatory bodies, but recommendations may be difficult to operationalize.
