'Privacy+' for Developing and Deploying Artificial Intelligence

This web conference was a part of the IAPP European Data Protection Intensive Online 2021.

Original broadcast date: 24 June 2021

Taking a ‘Privacy+’ approach (privacy laws + specific AI guidelines), we explore several key topics to help you handle AI more effectively. These include how to fit into and manage an AI supply chain, what issues arise when training algorithms, and how to carry out a Data Protection Impact Assessment. We also discuss methods for explaining AI to data subjects, such as in a privacy policy, and what to do when rights requests arise. Finally, we review how to audit the performance of AI systems.
