According to Hunton Andrews Kurth's Privacy & Information Security Law Blog, the law firm's Centre for Information Policy Leadership and the Data Security Council of India published a report on how India's Personal Data Protection Bill can enable India-U.S. data transfers. The report points to certifications and codes of practice or adequacy agreements as the most viable transfer mechanisms under the PDPB. Additionally, the report explains India has a chance to better shape these potential data flows given the PDPB is still being finalized.
