The personal information of up to 50,000 Australian university students may have been exposed online in the data breach of Get, an online events promotion company, 9News reports. The names, phone numbers and email addresses of students who purchased tickets through the mobile app within the last two years may have been accessible by anyone due to an error in the app’s search option, the company said. Get does not store personal financial information, according to the report.
