As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, countries continue to grapple with contact-tracing apps and their privacy applications. Here is the latest from Europe:
- BreakingNews.ie reports Northern Ireland is set to launch its COVID-19-tracing app, Stop Covid NI, within the next week. Its use will be voluntary, and the app will not store identifiable information.
- In an op-ed for the Guardian, Open University Professor John Naughton discusses the U.K.'s shortcomings in rolling out a contact-tracing program.
