Consumer Reports asked California Attorney General Xavier Becerra to ensure the California Consumer Privacy Act's enforcement date is not delayed, Multichannel News reports. The organization's call to Becerra is in response to a coalition of ad groups that seeks to move the enforcement date back from July 1. MediaPost reports newspapers, the Motion Picture Association of America and more than 60 other organizations have also asked Becerra to delay enforcement.
