NOYB Founder Max Schrems filed a complaint to France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, regarding potential privacy violations stemming from Google's advertising practices, Bloomberg reports. Schrems alleges Google's Android-tracking tool generates unique identifiers that "clearly require the users’ consent," but the company "neglects this legal requirement." The complaint comes as the CNIL recently began enforcing new ad-tracking guidelines.
