Zoom will roll out a new advertising program for Basic Zoom users in certain countries, ZDNet reports. The program will display ads on the page that appears following a meeting's conclusion to "continue providing free Basic users with access to our robust platform" and foster further investment, according to Zoom Chief Marketing Officer Janine Pelosi, but reasserts that this will not change their privacy stance. "(Zoom) will not use meeting, webinar, or messaging content (specifically, audio, video, files, and messages) for any marketing, promotions, or third-party advertising purposes," Pelosi said.
