The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada submitted feedback on the Department of Justice's cybercrime protocol that aims to decrease cyberattacks and protect citizens' sensitive data. The protocol states law enforcement agencies should be able to access electronic devices when a cybercrime is being investigated. The OPC said it "recommended options for stronger oversight, safeguards, and transparency."
