Diane McLeod-McKay, Yukon's information and privacy commissioner, has raised concerns about a proposal from the city of Whitehorse involving drones, Yukon News reports. The proposal would leverage drones to enforce certain bylaws, the report states. "No one can say if you're followed around by a drone all day it's not going to change your behaviour," she said. "And in a free and democratic society like Canada we shouldn't have to be subject to that kind of surveillance."
