In a letter to T-Mobile CEO John Legere, Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., expressed “disappointment” and “disbelief” at the company’s continued collection and sale of user location data, Motherboard reports. He added that the company’s data practices were in “direct contradiction” to the company’s “‘personal evaluation’ of the issue six months ago.” Wyden also sent a letter to the CEOs of Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint reiterating his request that the companies reveal the extent to which the companies sell user location data.
