In an article for DarkReading, Amit Ashbel writes about the “new era of global privacy management” and how chief information security officers need to connect with data protection officers. Ashbel suggests that in order to link the two, privacy operations could serve as a technical connector. He writes, “In Privacy Ops, we will see a merging of the security and privacy teams, in which the DPOs will leverage the security team's expertise to implement and manage technology in order to simplify regulation adherence.”
