The White House launched a website created to share artificial intelligence initiatives from within the federal government, VentureBeat reports. The website lists initiatives from the National Institutes of Health on biomedical research and a report from the U.S. Department of Transportation on autonomous vehicles and cites the “Executive Order on Maintaining American Leadership in Artificial Intelligence” signed by President Donald Trump. AI.gov also notes the National Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Strategic Plan is currently underway. The plan was first rolled out in the final months of President Barack Obama’s administration.
