European Commissioner for Competition Margrethe Vestager is pushing for a voluntary artificial intelligence code of conduct to be stood up in the coming months, Reuters reports. Speaking at the recent EU-U.S. Trade and Technology Council summit, Vestager said "within the next weeks" a draft code will be presented and a final version for industry approval could come "very, very soon."
