The U.K. government released guidance on how British organizations should handle data protection and data flows once the Brexit transition period ends. The guidance covers how companies may have to look at standard contractual clauses for data transfers in the event the U.K. does not receive an adequacy decision before the conclusion of the transition period, as well as where laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation will stand Jan. 1, 2021.
