Text IQ announced it has raised $12.6 million in Series A funding to advance its artificial intelligence platform for identifying sensitive information, MarTech Series reports. The provider of artificial intelligence solutions for identifying sensitive information is working with FirstMark Capital and Sierra Ventures to fund the program. With this announcement, the company can broaden its reach into enterprise compliance and privacy. The platform finds sensitive information hidden in enterprise data faster than traditional methods and reduces the risk of missing sensitive information by more than 50%, according to the report. “Unstructured data is exploding, and enterprises need privacy management to stay competitive yet safe,” Sierra Ventures Managing Director Tim Guleri said.
