University Grenoble-Alpes, CESICE, France Professor of International Law Theodore Christakis wrote a study on the concept of "European Digital Sovereignty." The study examines Europe's power to regulate the digital ecosystem and technology companies, as well as a focus on "digital sovereignty as strategic autonomy." Data localization is also covered within the study, including why it is necessary to understand the stakes of such rules.
