A Missouri store has begun using facial recognition technology in addition to cameras it already has to keep robbers out, NewsFix reports. Signs tell late-night visitors that they must look up at a camera that captures a picture of their face before they are able to enter the store, the report states. Should their face be covered or they obstruct the camera with a hand, they will not gain access to the store. "So far, no privacy groups or lobbyists have come out against the new technology being used," the report adds. "Regular customers don't seem to mind the new procedure, either."
