Facebook will face yet another lawsuit after a class-action was filed by Spanish consumer group OCU, Phys.org reports. OCU is accusing Facebook of misusing personal data and is seeking "at least" $230 per Facebook user within the country, not just those affected by the Cambridge Analytica revelations. The group states Facebook violated data protection legislation by failing to inform users of the ways their data will be used and for not obtaining consent. Facebook is currently facing legal challenges from French digital rights group La Quadrature du Net and privacy activist Max Schrems for potential violations of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
