ZDNet reports Singapore's government agencies will begin rolling out cybersecurity "technical measures" for new and existing systems. The "interim" recommendations offered as part of a recent report came after a review of Singapore's public sector data security in the wake of government data breaches. Automated detection of emails containing sensitive data and stronger encryption for files are among the upgrades that will be implemented. A full report on the findings and effectiveness of the recommendations is set to be submitted to the prime minister in November.
