ZDNet reports Singapore's government has agreed to adopt new cybersecurity measures that will increase protection of public data. A committee reviewed the data security practices of 94 government agencies to obtain best practices on an international scale. Enhancing technologies and processes, building security competencies, and improving accountability and transparency were among the committee's takeaways. "We will ensure our data security efforts are not one-off, but sustained and continue to evolve to address future challenges," Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean said.
