A study published by Ben-Gurion University researchers said online video conferencing participants might be subject to risks they are unaware of, VentureBeat reports. The researchers found it was easy to extract personal information, including facial images, age, gender and names, from video meeting screenshots, which could be cross-referenced with Zoom app and social network data. “This can result in jeopardizing the target individual’s privacy by using different meetings to discover different types of connections,” the researchers wrote.
