Indian search service JustDial suffered a data breach, including data belonging to more than 100 million users, The Economic Times reports. The data included names, email IDs, mobile numbers, genders, dates of birth and publicly available addresses. Security Researcher Rajshekhar Rajaharia discovered the link and found that 70% of those included in the breach were users who called JustDial’s customer care number. Rajaharia uncovered four application program interfaces that had been left unprotected. JustDial has denied the breach and in a statement said that while older versions of the company’s apps contained a vulnerability, "Newer (current) versions of [the] app where [the] majority of users are available do not have the above vulnerability."
