ProtonMail has released a version of ProtonVPN for Android, ZDNet reports. While the company offers the service for free, users have the ability to pay an annual fee to get access to VPN servers in all countries, on five devices and at the highest speed available. The paid subscription promises not to show ads, install malware, or sell user data. The company cites new U.S. laws, which allow internet service providers to use customers' browsing history, and expanded European surveillance laws, as reasons for the new release.
