Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s “Project: Let’s Talk Privacy” seeks to bridge the gap between legislators, researchers, industry practitioners and everyday people on privacy. Forty-one people were interviewed about their views on privacy and how three federal draft data and privacy-related policies could impact their work. The report includes recommendations and insights for policymakers and design practitioners working in privacy. Findings “may bring us closer to understanding privacy nuances across contexts, and provoke us to explore opportunities to prototype policies,” the report states.
