Whitney Merrill, CIPP/US, exudes a rare passion for what she does. She is privacy, e-commerce and consumer protection counsel at Electronic Arts, and she was recently named one the 2017 Top Women in Cybersecurity. Before that, she did a stint at the Federal Trade Commission as part of a National Science Foundation program, and Merrill also runs the Crypto and Privacy Village each year at DEFCON, for which she's working hard to up the number of women represented there. In this episode of the podcast, Merrill talks to host Angelique Carson, CIPP/US, about her path to finding what she loves and how early experiences with cyberbullying pushed her in that direction.
