South Korea's Personal Information Protection Commission announced a data breach involving individuals it was handling a separate data breach case for, The Register reports. The PIPC said it was working through case mediation for 181 Facebook users when it inadvertently disclosed the personal information of those users to other case applicants. The regulator had previously ordered Facebook to pay 300,000 won to each user who had their data shared by the company to third parties without their consent.
