A scan of first lady Michelle Obama’s alleged passport has been posted online after hackers accessed the Gmail account of an “advance” White House staffer who coordinates official travel, the Guardian reports. Thieves also hacked and released emails from the account. “Though officials declined to say whether the disclosures were authentic, there were no immediate reasons to suspect they were not,” the report states. The scan included Obama’s passport number, date of birth and birthplace, “most of which is public information,” the report adds. “At this point I cannot announce any sort of conclusion that’s been reached about the individual or individuals that may have been responsible for the cyber breach that resulted in this information being leaked,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said.
