Speaking at the opening of the Microsoft Ignite and Envision conferences, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stressed the need for greater "tech intensity," announcing a new Open Data Initiative with Adobe and SAP and AI for Humanitarian Action initiative, PC Magazine reports. The Open Data Initiative enables data sharing across the platforms and emphasizes customer ownership and control of data. Speaking about the need "to reimage customer experiences," Narayen stressed creating "compelling, personalized, [and] relevant experiences across all channels" and breaking down silos that trap data. "We want to empower you with that tech intensity," Nadella said. "Our success is fundamentally dependent on your success."
