Philippines National Privacy Commission Chairman Raymund Liboro has told the banking industry to take responsibly in ensuring clients’ personal information remains protected, GMA News reports. “The time must come for our mindset to go to the next level, from vigilance to accountability,” he said, while also pointing to the client relationship as one that would be negatively impacted by any breach of personal information. "The only answer to such threats is resilience—always being aware of threats and risks, being on step ahead."
