Italy's data protection authority, the Garante, announced a memorandum of understanding with nonprofit Creative Commons regarding the creation of a privacy notice automation tool. The Garante noted the partnership aims to help data controllers "automatically generate a simple and clear information and, in this way, allow people to become more aware of the content of the information regarding the processing of their personal data." The regulator also noted Italy will be the first country to explore the implementation of Creative Commons' technology.
