The adoption of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act in the U.S., among other initiatives both in the U.S. and internationally, are “likely to bring about a significant change in the way information sharing and collaboration works,” writes Allison Bender, CIPP/G, CIPP/US, of Hogan Lovells for Privacy Tracker. Paired with emerging technical standards that “promise to enable efficient information sharing at scale,” we will begin to see how “cyber-threat intelligence is poised to transition from a revenue-generating resource to a public good,” Bender writes.
