The U.K. Information Commissioner's Office announced the Age Appropriate Design Code has completed the Parliamentary process. The agency issued the code Aug. 12. and it will come into force Sept. 2. Online services will have a 12 month transition period to conform to the 15 standards to protect children's privacy. The standards include ensuring privacy settings should be at their highest level for any service targeted toward children under the age of 18.
