Reuters reports the U.K. Information Commissioner's Office has begun investigating Barclays and its potential employee tracking practices. In February, the bank shifted away from personalized tracking of employee productivity and computer usage in favor of anonymized tracking. An ICO spokesman confirmed the probe, saying an organization "should be clear about its purpose and that it brings real benefits" when they monitor their employees.
