Hundreds of high school students attending an online school run by broadcaster TVO will need to reset their passwords after a “technical error” caused their login information to be shared with other students, CTV Toronto reports. TVO Director of Communication Lsan Tzadu said emails containing students’ names, course information and login were sent to other students because of an error by a third-party service provider Jan. 6. Meanwhile, in Victoria, British Columbia, an internal city investigation has linked City Councilor Ben Isitt to three separate privacy breaches, reports CFAX 1070.
