MediaPost reports Google requested an immediate appeal to the continuation of a case claiming the Big Tech company unlawfully shared user searches with publishers. In its filing seeking a move to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, Google argues that "no individual’s privacy can be harmed if no one knows whose words were revealed." Meanwhile, Salesforce and children's clothing retailer Hanna Andersson have struck a deal to settle a class-action lawsuit over a 2019 data breach. Also, data aggregator Plaid has been sued over alleged privacy violations.
