Gizmodo reports that more than 600 Google employees have signed a letter of opposition to the company’s controversial Dragonfly project, which aims to create a censored search product for China. In the letter, the employees wrote, “Our opposition to Dragonfly is not about China: we object to technologies that aid the powerful in oppressing the vulnerable, wherever they may be,” adding that the project “would establish a dangerous precedent at a volatile political moment, one that would make it harder for Google to deny other countries similar concessions.”
