The emails and names of subscribers to the Ontario Science Centre’s e-newsletter were copied without their authorization, CBC News reports. The center notified subscribers Monday of the data breach, which also affects participants in camp programs and events who receive information through third-party service provider Campaigner. A Campaigner investigation found a former employee’s credentials were used from July 23 to Aug. 2 to access and download the information, and a copy of the subscriber emails and names was made Aug. 16. The center said in a notice, “No other personal identification, financial information or passwords were accessed.”
