A spokesman for British cybersecurity body CERT-UK said the U.S. and Britain will later this month test how regulators would respond “if their financial sectors suffered a major cyber-attack or broader IT problems,” Reuters reports. The plan, called Operation Resilient Shield, was agreed upon last January by President Barack Obama and Prime Minister David Cameron. Officials said they’re especially concerned about the threat of a Russian cyber attack following recent United Nations sanctions on Russia over its actions in Ukraine.
