The Committee of Convention 108 announced it has started to accept applications for the first annual Stefano Rodotà Award. The award is named after the Italian lawyer and politician and is targeted toward data protection academic research projects. The winner of the award will have the opportunity to present their project at the committee’s next plenary session June 12 to 14 in Strasbourg. Applications must be sent in by Dec. 18 at midnight and be in both French and English. The winner will be chosen Jan. 28, Data Privacy Day.
