A proposed amendment to Israel’s Consumer Protection Bill would require recorded marketing calls to be saved and provided to consumers at their request. “The obligation to record calls, save them and deliver them to the consumer at his request increases the transparency in the relationship between the dealer and the consumer and allows the consumer to criticize the dealer’s actions and stand up for his rights,” the proposal stated.
