In an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal, former U.S. Attorney General William Barr writes "Big Tech has far too much power" and addressing its "harmful effects" should "be at the top of lawmakers' priorities for 2023." Vulnerabilities have increased as more products and services are dependent on large digital platforms. As a result, Barr urged Congress to "act quickly to prohibit the tech giants from unfairly leveraging their dominance into more markets," including protecting consumer privacy.
