The Wall Street Journal reports on the impact Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework has had on companies and advertisers since launching in April, including Facebook. With approximately 16% of people opting in to data tracking through Apple's ATT, advertising costs using Facebook are now anywhere from 25% more to 10 times more than before ATT. Companies have been forced to cut back on ad spending and seek other advertising options, such as TikTok or email marketing.
