Singapore-based NextBillion.ai secured $7 million in its Series A funding round, ZDNet reports. The startup will use the funds to expand its team, grow product and research development, and build customized artificial intelligence–powered applications. “From mapping to natural language processing, content moderation, facial-recognition, and cybersecurity related challenges, our AI solutions are aligned with hyperlocal nuances in both emerging markets and developed markets,” Co-Founder Shaolin Zheng said.
