The Future of Privacy Forum released a report titled “Insights into the future of data protection enforcement: Regulatory strategies of European Data Protection Authorities for 2021-2022.” FPF’s EU Policy Fellow Sebastião Barros Vale, CIPP/E, Director for Global Privacy Gabriela Zanfir-Fortuna and Managing Director for Europe Rob Van Eijk said the report found DPAs are modernizing regulatory approaches, ramping up enforcement action in response to the Court of Justice of the European Union’s decision on data transfers and have identified children’s personal data protection as a priority.
