The Nova Scotia government said the number of unredacted Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tribunal decisions posted online in a privacy breach is totaled at 10,599, CBC News reports. Exposed data included employee and employer names, as well as medical and psychiatric information. Impacted decisions were issued between 1996 and 2009. A statement by the appeals tribunal said 555 decisions were accessed. The privacy commissioner’s office said it will open an investigation if a complaint is filed by an affected individual.
