Microsoft announced enhanced privacy settings are set to be released in October’s Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, PCWorld reports. The updated version will build upon this spring’s Windows 10 Creators Update and include a full privacy statement made available during the setup. It will also require the user to express direct authorization if an app wants to access your camera, microphone, contacts, calendar and other potentially sensitive information but will only apply to apps installed after the update. While the update does not turn off what access Microsoft has to Windows 10 data, it is expected to improve transparency, the report states.
