Ahead of announcing this year's HPE-IAPP Privacy Innovation Award winner at the IAPP's Europe Data Protection Congress, Vodafone is recognized with an honorable mention for its Location Insights program. Vodafone's submission indicated how the company was able to harness the anonymized geospatial movement data of its users to give organizations a better understanding of how populations move in time and space, all while keeping the privacy of its customers top of mind. Molly Hulefeld spoke with Vodafone Global Privacy Officer Mikko Niva about the submission and how it helps elevate the value of privacy.
