A union representing federal employees has criticized the Office of Personnel Management’s response to its massive data breach, calling it an “abysmal failure” and claiming it was much worse than disclosed, The Wall Street Journal reports. The American Federation of Government Employees says the breach allowed hackers to obtain data—including Social Security numbers—for every federal employee, every federal retiree and up to one million former federal employees.
