The Turkish data protection authority, the KVKK, extended the Data Controllers’ Registry (VERBIS) registration requirement to Sept. 30. This third extension is due to COVID-19 and anticipated to be the last. Data controllers are expected to take the necessary steps to register before the September deadline.
